Room 6

Congratulations to Kevin who came second in Ms. Bouzzah' science week competition for the longest carrot.  

Our final experiment of Science Week 2023 was 'Magic Milk'. The pupils investigated the effects of washing up liquid on milk and food dye. Overall we had a very successful and busy Science week which we hoped you enjoyed following.      

During the week we also had our paper airplane competitions in class. The three finalists will now go onto the final round of the competition with Ms. Bouzzah. Well done to PJ, Lexi and Zoriana who are into the final today with Ms. Bouzzah.

Last week in Room 6 we learned about the importance of fire safety. This week we were lucky enough to visit Balbriggan Fire Station. The local firemen had lots of knowledge to share and gave a great tour to the boys and girls in Rooms 6 and 7.     

In keeping with our Halloween theme this week today the children in rooms 6 and 7 conducted a science experiment. The children investigated  how to turn milk into a solid bone-like structure using Avonmore Super Milk and vinegar.
