Our final experiment of Science Week 2023 was 'Magic Milk'. The pupils investigated the effects of washing up liquid on milk and food dye. Overall we had a very successful and busy Science week which we hoped you enjoyed following.      

We have had a week full of science experiments here in Room 2. For our first experiment we investigated how to make raisins dance! When we put the raisins in still water nothing happened but when we put them into sparkling water they started to jump up and dance...

We have been having lots of fun learning all about 2D shapes and colour this week. We learned that triangles, squares and rectangles have straight sides and corners and that a circle has 1 curved side. We cut out the shapes and used them make pictures of houses, trees...

During the week we also had our paper airplane competitions in class. The three finalists will now go onto the final round of the competition with Ms. Bouzzah. Well done to PJ, Lexi and Zoriana who are into the final today with Ms. Bouzzah.
