For Sese, we discussed what a landmark is and whether there are any in Balbriggan town. The children identified the lighthouse as a famous landmark of Balbriggan. Therefore, for art, we made these wonderful lighthouse scenes.

For our featured artist this month, we looked at the works of Georges Seurat, in particular his most famous piece, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. We discussed the art movement   “Pointillism,” and then the girls and boys created their own pointillism works of art.
