Picker Pals

We have started a wonderful new litter picking initiative in our class. It’s called Picker Pals. Each week, somebody from our class takes home the Picker Pal pack, which contains picker uppers, bags, gloves & high vis vests. With a trusted adult, whoever has the picker pack for that week goes out around their environment & collects up any rubbish that has been thrown on the ground.

It is hoped that by picking up litter themselves, the children will learn to never throw rubbish on the ground and realise how important it is to keep our country litter free. 🗑🚮

Here are some of our Picker Pal recruits so far. They all have done a brilliant job, keeping Balbriggan clean and litter free!
