October is Road and Fire safety awareness month. For our lessons on fire safety we discussed what we should do if a fire breaks out.

We highlighted the important things to remember. These were;

● Never play with matches, fire, or fireworks

● Stop, Drop and Roll

● Get down low!

● Get out & Get the fire brigade out

●Know your eircode

●Have a safe place for household members to gather

Each table then drew a poster promoting these safety messages. Teacher then picked a winner from each table. Well done Victoria, Molly, Aoibhe, Evie & Ellie on your fantastic posters. Noah was the overall class winner and Dana was the overall first class winner. Congratulations to all. 👏🚒👩‍🚒👨‍🚒
