Planting Daffodils

October 13, 2023

We planted Daffodil bulbs at the start of September. We have been taking such good care of them by watering them every other day.  We also wrote about how we planted our daffodil bulbs afterwards. We used our 5 W’s, Who, What, Where, When and Why; which we learned about in our recount writing.

First we filled our pots up with compost, then we made a hole in the compost with our thumbs. Finally, teacher showed us how to plant the daffodil bulb so that its roots will grow downwards. We are looking forward to seeing our daffodils bloom in Springtime.
