Working with Ten Frames

We are working on our addition stories in first class. A great way to practice the number stories to ten is to use a Ten Frame. Its a simple rectangle box divided into ten parts and we use two different coloured counters/cubes to represent the numbers. Try making your own at-home to help reinforce your child’s maths skills.
