We have been discussing Autumn in school this week and learning about what creatures are preparing for winter. We watched a video all about hedgehogs and for Art this week, we worked with modelling clay to create Autumn hedgehogs. Firstly we rolled and squashed the clay into different shapes, then we created our own clay hedgehogs. We added matchsticks for their spikey body and then painted them.

Our annual whole school competition saw the students hunting for the longest carrot & heaviest potato around Balbriggan. Well done to Evie & Alexandra, who came 3rd in the school for the heaviest potato. We also did really well in the paper plane competition....
